PC Construction's contract works included the supply and construction of this gabion wall and placement of backfill. Gabion cages were constructed to retain a steep embankment on a new development. Part of the planning consent specified that the retaining wall had to be in keeping with the surrounding dry stone walls so the gabions were placed with walling stone sourced locally.
