PC Construction's contract works included the placement of all face blocks, geogrids and the placement of all fill. Modular block retaining walls were used on this new bypass to retain all the areas where the carriageway was in a deep cutting and regrading was not an option. The fill used within the structure was sand and gravel which came from site excavations.
